Dr. Doobay joined Markham Stouffville Hospital (MSH) as an intensivist and internist in July 2010 and has been an active member of the organization since then. In 2012, he became the lead intensivist at MSH. He is credited for improving sedation and mobility practices in the ICU, starting a percutaneous tracheostomy program, and helping secure funding for an ICU dialysis program. Dr. Doobay is the physician lead for the Digital Order Sets Committee and was also the physician lead for Choosing Wisely.
A graduate of the University of Alberta Medical School, Dr. Doobay completed internal medicine and critical care training programs at the University of Toronto.
