Introducing Abygail Gosselin, our first baby born at Markham Stouffville Hospital (MSH) in 2021! Originally due on December 28, Marie-Pier did not go into labour until New Year’s Eve, and in a mere six hours, they finally met their baby girl. Abygail could not wait to ring in the New Year, and arrived less than a minute after midnight! Mom Marie-Pier and dad Gabriel are thrilled with the new addition to their family, and Abygail’s big brother cannot wait to meet his new baby sister when they return home to Stouffville, where they recently moved to only a few months ago.
Marie-Pier and Gabriel chose MSH to have their baby girl because they felt that the hospital’s reputation for childbirth was the best in Ontario. They were pleased to learn that they made the right choice: “We have had a really great experience (at MSH). The staff have been amazing, and we really appreciated all the gifts!”
Delivery nurse Melissa Loney said: “They were a lovely couple to care for with a rather quick and smooth delivery of their beautiful baby girl. It was an absolute pleasure to have been part of their experience at MSH!”
