Michael Ma is a global business executive with a strong background in operations and technology in Canada, the USA, Asia Pacific, and Europe. He brings a wealth of experience as a Chief Information Officer with RBC, AIG/AIA, Sun Life Financial, LifeLabs, and the Hong Kong Hospital Authority. Michael has a strong background in health care, mental health, electronic health record management, hospital administration, and new hospital commissioning.

As a dedicated supporter of the community, Michael currently serves as the Chair of Hong Fook Mental Health Foundation, a member of Oak Valley Health’s President’s Advisory Council, and a member of the Selection Committee for the Champion of Diversity Award for the Government of Ontario. He is a former Vice Chair of the City of Toronto’s Yonge-Dundas Square and has served on various university and government advisory committees. Michael is a community member of the Oak Valley Board of Directors and a member of the Development and Planning Committee.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of South Australia, in addition to being a Fellow of the Hong Kong Computer Society, Fellow of the Hong Kong Institution of Directors (FHKIoD), and a certified member of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D).
