Chris is a Partner within Ernst & Young’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services practice, spearheading the Canadian Finance Optimization division. He provides expert counsel to Chief Financial Officers and senior finance executives, guiding them through the optimization of the finance function to enhance its role in strategic decision-making and analysis. His advisory encompasses the establishment of finance business partnering relationships, the adoption of emerging technology and automation to improve process efficiency, and assisting his clients navigate the forces of external disruption caused by increased regulations, globalization, cost pressures, and shifting societal norms. With a forward-thinking approach, Chris assists with the paradigm shift from a traditional focus on value protection, to a proactive approach to long-term value creation. He is committed to assisting his clients in navigating this evolution, ensuring that their finance operations become more efficient, agile, and insightful.

Chris began his service on the Oak Valley Health Board in 2018 as a Community Member, accepting a Board of Director position two years later where he has served on the Finance and Audit, Development and Planning, Quality and Safety, Medical Advisory, and Governance and Nominating Committees. In 2024, Chris served as an advisor to the Strategy Development Steering Committee where he assisted with the new 2024–2029 Strategic Plan: Integrated Care for Healthier Communities. He is currently the Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee and mentor to new Board and Community Members.

Chris is an alumnus of the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario, where he earned his Honours Bachelor of Administration (HBA) degree. He is also a credentialed Chartered Professional Accountant and Certified Management Accountant with CPA Ontario, underscoring his commitment to excellence in the field of finance and accounting.
