The maternal fetal medicine (MFM) clinic provides care to women who have high risk pregnancies due to maternal health conditions, prior pregnancy complications, or concerns in the current pregnancy.
The MFM clinic is led by Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist Dr. Hui Jue (Mickey) Zhang. Dr. Zhang also has an appointment within the maternal fetal medicine department at Mount Sinai Hospital, allowing her to keep up-to-date with leading-edge care practices and bring those practices back to Markham Stouffville Hospital.
Women can be referred to the MFM clinic through their family physician, obstetrician, or midwife.
